This was an overcast morning on the central coast of Oregon at low tide. The succeeding photos zoom closer to the triangle where the ocean is visible. This area is under water much of the time. Otter Rock beach below Devil's Punchbowl State Park, North of Newport. April, 2011.

Here it is - the place we stayed for two nights to celebrate my birthday. And surf. Although the conditions were poor, so we snuggled instead.
